• Drying: Pad or fan drying. Buffing in some cases.
• Sealing: We can apply a protective sealant to the tile and grout to prevent future staining and make them easier to clean.

Slate floor cleaning and sealing

Slate is a difficult stone floor to clean due to its uneven surface. Over time dirt will get stuck in the crevices which breaks down the sealer. Once the sealer has failed, the stone is exposed to the elements and cleaning products. This can cause the stone to discolor and also become more brittle.

Aside from just cleaning tile and grout, we also hone and polish marble floors. Their is a lot of marble floors here in the Granbury area. Most people don't even know this service exists. If your marble or travertine floors are looking dull then it is time to get them honed and polished.

A lot of people notice the shine fading and put a top coat on it. Top coats are a bad idea on marble floors. It will eventually have to come off and stripping the top coat from marble floors is expensive and will leave you with no choice but to hone and polish. The shine comes from the tile being smooth, just like glass. etched glass is foggy. smooth glass is shiny. Same effect on marble.
