Very Low moisture Encapsulation carpet cleaning uses “SETT.” Stands for Soil Extraction Transfer Technology.
This method uses very little moisture compared to Steam Cleaning. The fast dry time reduces the ability for stains to wick back up in most cases.
Because this method is so quiet and fast drying, we can actually clean commercial buildings during business hours. No loud truckmounts running outside. Unlike steam cleaning, we can close the door so your AC and heat stays inside.
The real magic is in the encapsulating products. We use an orbital machine to agitate the fibers with the product. This agitation removes visible stains, lifts fibers, and sets the encapsulation cleaning product into the fibers.
So what makes it magic? When the carpet dries, the encapsulation cleaning solution crystallizes around each fiber on a microscopic level. When you do your next vacuuming, the crystallized polymer is removed. Just like using a peel mask to clean your face. When the polymers are removed, they strip soil attracting oils from the fibers. The carpet will have a natural soft clean feeling, and the clean will last longer than steam cleaning.
Most carpet will be dry to the touch with in minutes in most cases, witch means you can safely walk on it much faster than steam cleaning.
Although you will rarely need to speed the dry time.
Yes you can. In the summer, keep your air going. Your AC acts like a dehumidifier.
In the winter turn on the heat. Moisture naturally evaporates in warm dry air.
In both weather conditions, use fans to help circulate air.
If you need fast dry time. If you don’t have a lot of pet stains. If you had a pet that is trained now, but his pee spots keep coming back. Then yes.
Carpet tends to stay clean longer than steam cleaning. Carpet feels more soft. It looks better and better after the next few vacuums.
Steam cleaning is the traditional carpet cleaning method we all know and love. Chances are, if you have had carpet cleaned before, this is the method that was used. Hot Water Extraction, better known as "Steam Cleaning" uses a lot of HOT water to flush out stains and dirt.
We use very powerful Truck Mounted carpet cleaning machines to power out nastiness from your carpet using very hot water and conditioners.
The pre-conditioners break down dirt and grime that is stuck to your carpet fibers. The fresh HOT water thoroughly rinses and extracts it into our truckmount recovery tank.
The steam cleaning method uses a lot of water. Fortunately, our powerful vacuum blowers have insane vacuum power to pull most of the water out leaving it damp but clean.
Most carpet will dry in 4 to 8 hours. Some really thick or tall carpet can take longer.
Yes you can. In the summer, keep your air going. Your AC acts like a dehumidifier.
In the winter turn on the heat. Moisture naturally evaporates in warm dry air.
In both weather conditions, use fans to help circulate air. The tips of the carpet fibers will dry first which brings lower moisture to the top. With good air flow, the moisture is then evaporated into the air.
If you have poop and/or urine from pets or humans then you want Steam Cleaning. At least for the first cleaning. I will explain on the Low moisture section.
If fast dry time is not an issue, then yes.
